order (2) - adverbs with the verb
(a)
Мы ставим некоторые
наречия (например always,
also,
probably)
с глаголом в середине предложения:

also hungry.

Запомните правила расположения
наречия в середине
предложения. (Это только общее правило, поэтому есть
исключения.)

Если сказуемое представлено
одним словом (goes,
cooked
и т.д.), то обычно наречие ставится перед
глаголом:

(но не `cooked also')

Jack hardly ever
watches television and
rarely reads newspapers.

Однако,

Иногда сказуемое состоит
из двух и более слов (can
remember, doesn't
smoke,
has
been stolen и
т.д.).
Обычно наречие ставится
после первой части глагола:
